Question Help

Can some other 2000 CL500 owners help me, I am about to purchase a 2000 CL500 and am concerned about the hydraulic issues my friend whom works for MB has warned me about..I LOVE the car and am getting it at a great price I just want some input from other CL drivers if it is that serious he told me 98% of the cars have problems with the hydraulic, command units and also the blower fans.................PLEASE HELP

2001,CL 500
yes the pumps do go bad...mine needed t be replaced as a 2001///if it is low mileage then it wil be better off...they seem to go around 50 to 60 k miles...but if you like the car that much just buy it with an extended warranty because it is very expensive so far i have shelled out thousands in repair bills...

From a repair frequency standpoint, these are far from being trouble free cars. I wouldn't buy it without a good extended warranty. Good luck.
