Gonna get a Cl600
In a few days, I may be picking up a 2003 Cl600.
Autobahn USA is selling a 2003 Cl600 for 55,xxx with 22,xxx miles on it.
Sounds like a good deal?

Since I now know that these CL's are far from trouble free cars that have more electronics than the "Apollo" moon rockets, I'm very glad to have spent the money. For example, if your ABC pump goes, which I understand is fairly common, the cost is around the $3500. That makes the warranty look pretty cheap considering what else may go wrong in the 4 years of coverage. BTW, I understand that the maintenence for the 600 is substanially more than the 500.
One last thing. My warranty is transferrable which is important if you sell your car to a private party. Check to see if you have that provision as this is a strong selling point having that MB warranty. Also, I believe they will refund the unused portion at any time, including at trade in.

I'm probably going to wait until a Mercedes Dealer gets a Cl600 instead of purchasing it from a used dealer with aftermarket warranty.
I heard bad things about aftermarket warranty companies and I wouldnt want to risk it, so I 'd rather get a Certified Pre-owned Mercedes with extended warranty from MB.
They are lowered price by a lot too, but their lack of honestly makes me not want to get the car from them.
