I really like the 215 and this seems like a smokin lease deal. Tell me why you think this lease deal from Glauseris a good or bad idea.

Just keep in mind that they are not giving these cars away and that they are getting as much as they think the market will bear. They are priced at this level because MB knows that they must move them before the new ones come out and the market is dead currently as customers await the new CL. It is hard to argue with the price though, and I guess it is a question of whether you want the older or newer model. IMO, I believe you'll still see rapid depreciation on these cars as the newer models become more readily available. Good luck!

Great deal...but I got 25k off my brand new sports package (good color) SL a year ago and they werent changing the body too much. I bet you could get it a little lower if you travel around and talk to internet managers.

CL500 Lease / Purchase / Depreciation
CL`s depreciate sooooo fast.
Lease it if thats the deal for you.
Here is an example of how fast mine did.
My 2000 was $92K new in Oct 99.
I bought it with 17K miles in Feb 2004 for $52K. Single owner.
Its worth about $30K now with 55K miles on it and extended warranty
thru 2008 or 75K Miles. Its been a great car. Its 7 years old now.
Just be aware that with the new body style coming out.
Its going to take an even bigger hit over a few years from now.
I think the price is excellent for a new CL500.

There is no way I would purchase a new CL now, with the new body coming out next year. The depreciation hit is going to be huge, to the point that I would only consider leasing.
I don't see how the car will be able to be sold for the lease residual when the lease is up. Flip side is that at the end of the lease, might be able to negotiate the acquistion price closer to market value if I would want to keep it.
