I live in S. Fla and currently have my '02 for sale in the Autotrader. In this area, you will see very clean cars of this vintage in the $40's. However, when I do a total search of the country, I see the same cars listed in the $60's.
Have a look and give me your opinion as to what this is all about.

Cars have horrible resale value in South Florida. That's where I look when I buy used cars. There are just so many highend cars on the market and if they are two or more years old they are out of style down there. The people that buy new cars in South Florida want the latest and greatest of everything and usually turn the car over every two years. It's good for the dealerships but bad for the guy trying to sell his three or four year old car that he/she purchased when new.

This probably doesn't make you feel any better but that's how it seems in south FL. Good luck with your sale but keep in mind that the 2003 CL600's are now going for $43,000 to $65,000 depending on mileage. I would expect a 2002 CL500 to be worth considerably less.
