Headlight out!

Hey what's up everyone,

Last week when I turned on my car, my display gave me 3 malfunction warnings: License Plate Lamp, R; Sidemarker Lamp, L; and Sidelight Lamp, L. All of these messages included "Check Lamp." I always seem to have a problem with the license plate lamp and sidemarker but it's not a big deal because I change them myself. However, the sidelight is something new--I went out to check which light it was, and from what I can tell it's the headlight, not the Xenon one to the far left but the one before it; the dimmer one when the headlights are on. Anyway, light is not working but the high beams completely work. My question is do I need to replace the bulb in the headlight or is it something more? Also, are the sensors faulty or does the circuitry need to be "tightened" for lack of a better technical word? Thanks in advance. By the way my Service B is due next week so I want to be prepared to know what to expect.

It's just a bulb. Neither side is too difficult to change. I believe they are called city lights.

It's just the bulb, will cost $3 and 2 minutes of your time. Hell, Autohaus on Edens gave me one free.

actually $6.99 elsewhere, and the bulb was H6W BA9X base bulb very rare here in states as it has offset pins ala most European bulbs counterparts *1156 vs 1156A*.

by the way, Autohaus on Edens is awesome. Bought a car from eBay from them once and exactly as described.

LOL, to be honest, the free bulb is about the only good thing I have to say about them. Their service department sucks....but I never dealt with the sales department, they may be better.

Glad the car I bought was serviced and ready to drive when I got there, I never had to deal with service dept. The sales people are OK, the fleet manager was awesome as he was the one that help with the process.
