Question Active Body Control Lowering overnight

So, I have been using the ABC frequently on the interstate and curvey roads to see how my CL 500 sport performs. Now the car is dropping extremely low on the Front Driver side over night when I park it. It does not do it all the time, but has happend frequently lately. When started the ABC appears on my dash reading "car too Low." I have to push the button to raise it back up and then it is fine.

Can anyone tell me how big of a deal this is before I take it in?
Any insight would help!
Thanks,

Yes, it's a big deal. You either have a leak, clog, or a leaking hydraulic valve. Have them check the system, flush, and change the filter. The ABC suspensions is the CL's Achilles heel.

"Car too low" is a problem. In most cases, I actually don't think the dropping itself is an issue, change in ambient temperature causes the hydraulics to do weird stuff with these cars when they are parked (say park it at 70 degrees and drops to 40 degrees overnight).

But "Car too low" -> that is bad enough that something is amiss. You'll want to have it checked out. I also believe that the CL500's and CL600's are more prone to dropping the car to the ground than are the CL55 and CL65 that have stiffer "springs". Stated another way, I don't worry about this much with my CL55 ... but I would worry if I had a CL500 or CL600.

Does an extended warranty cover the ABC?
