Extended warranty question..

Has anyone had any experience with Performance Plus for an extended warranty? The quote I got was very reasonable and it seemed to cover nearly everything including the NAV system and the ABC system. Any help would be appreciated.

Extended Warranty.

Here is a suggestion.

Go to the MBZ dealer that you are using or will use for service.
Make sure they will take that extended warranty company`s
policy and verify that before you send off your payment.

My extended company "Heritage" now has some issue with my dealer.
I have to pay first and then wait 6 weeks to get reimbursed.

Guess some of these extended warranty company`s have gone
under or dont pay, so dealers are getting very shy.

Warranty question

From what I am being told the service center must be able to process a credit card. Apparently the warranty company pays via credit card to the service center which should avoid the issue of waiting for payment. Does this sound right?

Go to the Dealer and ask.

Before you shell out hard money with some "Who Knows" warranty company ??
Do your homework !!!!

All dealers take Credit Cards ?????
Something sounds fishy here.

Talk to a Benz Dealer.
Ask for a Service Advisor. Trust me they want your business.
A CL is a big ticket car. They will be way nice. It aint no C230.
I would not suggest getting a CL serviced anywhere else but a Benz dealer.
This car is way to complicated for a "European Auto Shop".

Do you have the CL yet ? How many Miles ??

Take your time before you lay out on some low cost extended warranty deal.

Good Luck.

Extended warranty

I don't have it yet. I am flying down to Orlando next week to pick it up from a colleague. It's a 2001 CL600 with only 28,000 miles. The person I am picking it up from just had it serviced today and completely check out at MB dealer. Everything checks out.

Smile Thanks for the help

Hey everyone. Great responses and I thank you for them.... I did pay a 300. start charge over the phone via Visa. So far I am not worried. I won't pay a dime more until I find out from the local dealer if they are straight to use. Again, Great response from y'all. Regards, Dave
