It will fit though most people are running the 265/30/22 tire w/a 22 x 9.5" wheel. It's tight though and as previously mentioned, ride quality WILL suffer. Just an FYI it is not an approved fittment from any TUV approved wheel companies.

it fits... just make sure stick to as close as possible to original offset. low 30s , or 28 on the rear with as much as 10-1/2 but can't lower too much for sure. as the diameter slightly bigger than average.

Its funny because i just found that same pic lastnight, i checked the same wheel and tire size with 1010tires size calculator and its 5.75% larger which means that its not good for the vehicle. So I have decided to go with the safe bet and get 20" wheels. Thanks anyway guys.

tgood...I am rubbing with my 20'S even with shaving a bit of my bumper...that's amazing how your friend can fit 22's. Is he even rubbing. Do you have anymore pictures or know what kind of rim are those. Very very nice.

Hey TGOOD can you find out the wheels specs that your friend has and the size of the rubbers?
What other modifications did he do to his car suspension wise because his wheels look tucked?
Please!!

22'' wheels on 03 cl 500
i have a 02 cl 600 amg m/b and 22's fit perfect to keep them from rubbing some much you can raise the suspension by pushing a button right above the navigation system. oh! and i didn't have to cut anything only trim down a bolt about a 1/2 inch the bolt was located right above the tire as far as performance . well i don't have to say much it's a amg
