Charcoal Filter install help?

Has anyone here done this replacement? I'm doing the B service and I have the Mann element, but figured I'd ask before taking things apart.
How about a quick run through? Where the heck does it go?

I posted in the tech section but no responses...

On my 2003 CL500 these are the instructions:

1 Remove right cover below instrument panel
2 Pull back right front floor covering
3 Move locking slide and remove cover
4 Remove both activated charcoal filters downwards out of the AC housing

NOTE: Activated charcoal filters must not be cleaned but should always be replaced.

And for the heating /ac filters:
Remove glove compartment
Unlock locking slide upwards and remove cover from A/C housing
3. Pull both dust filters out of the A/C housing

NOTE:
Dust filters must not be cleaned but housing should always be replaced

In order to prevent contamination of the vehicle interior, hold dust filters horizontal when removing.Install in the reverse order.
