License Plate L.E.D. question

License Plate L.E.D. question
i know, i cant spell, but aside from that, i purchased some LED's for my License Plate lights so i can get that white Lexus Bulb look, but when i put them in, they didnt work. just one of them would blink once every 5 seconds.
did some research, now i see i will need a Load resistor.
Question is, which size resistor would i need.... and allso, how do i put it in
looking at the C Class's i found the info out for teh resister but the cars are built differently, how would i attach one to my light housing wont come out like theirs?
