2002 CL600 - Check Engine Light

Hey guys, did a search and couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. My father's CL600 started throwing the Check Engine light yesterday. This morning, battery was dead. So, I guess all I got for symptoms is: Check Engine Light + Battery Draining. Car is driving fine and nothing else is wrong, thanks in advance.
