The rust you may be seeing is from something else for example a hood ornament is made of iron or steel and may rust, any bubbling on the body is from faulty paint work.

So are you saying ALL the CL is aluminium? And in view of that it wont rust? What about round the wheel arches where it seems quiet afew CL owners are complaining about rust?

Ive checked my car and I just have one small area of bobbling paint - your saying its not rust but paint defect - is that right?
