"06 Navigation System

I just picked up my first CL500, an "06. I have lots of questions, but let me start with the navigation system. Even with the display completely zoomed in, it does not show the names of all the streets. To me, this makes the system worthless, especially if the street I am looking for is not one that is listed. Is there a particular setting I need to change or potentially a software up date that needs to be performed that anybody can tell me about?

I think mine shows all streets, but it may depend on where you are. If you haven't upgraded to the latest 2008 DVD, you should. If you have the original DVD, the dealer will have to upgrade your NAV software, which was done on warranty in order to get the 2007 DVD to read. In my region, the maps and POI database are vastly improved over the 2006 DVD.

Thanks for the response. I'm having to go into service this week, so I'll ask them about the upgrade.
