Question regarding Wheel fitment
Hello everyone. I desparately need to change the rims on my cl500. Over the past few days, I have been researching the possible fitment options I have.
From what I understand, the only OEM wheels that will fit are from S class 92+ and other CL's.
Also, what offset will work? I read 47 somewhere, and even 35 somewhere else...is there a range of offsets that will work for the car with different sized lugs etc?
Thanks!

Big and Heavy 03 CL
My advice is to find the wheel or manufacturer you like and then go from there. The higher end manufacturer will have the setup you need. There are way too many variables involved to just pick an offset: wheel width, diameter, lip depth, etc. And not all CL wheels will fit all CL's. Vehicles with bigger brake setups will not accomodate a smaller OEM CL wheel. Find what you like and then do the math. It took me about one year and three sets before I really got it right. Good luck.
