CARBON FIBER REAR DIFFUSER FOR AMG BUMPERS
I've recently learned the the black rear diffuser found on the bottom of the rear bumper on 03+ CL55K's can also be taped onto an older AMG Rear bumper 00 - 02 (like mine). I just ordered one from the dealership to accomodate a quad exhaust conversion and give me the CL55K look.
However I was wondering, if the diffuser fits both bumpers, would any manufacturers be interested in manufacturing one in Carbon Fiber, it would give us the CLK63 Black Editon looks (you can see the rear diffuser is CF on them).
COOL IDEA OR WHAT ?

nobody is going to make a carbon fiber diffuser for the CL. It just won't happen. We are lucky to be getting a CF front lip from euroteck. Too many people who aren't intersted in modding W215's own them. Good luck.

rear diffuser
i think there would be a market for the carbon fiber diffuser on older cl500 ,cl600 ,cl65, since the price of the car has dropped and the 07-08 cl550 has dropped in this tuff economic time . I honestly think more people are going to down grade to the 2000-2006 cl's and since the ferrari 430 has one the porsche gt3 has one and the s65 and cl65 its the new look. just like yellow calipers or black wheels were last year.

is a ///AMG badged CL500.
Check the forum history for CL Carbon fiber front spoiler and you will see how long I've been trying to get one made. Eurotech has one coming out mid month...about a year after I first started pestering Neal! You have to be dreaming if you think someone is going to go to the effort to make a rear diffuser. The rear diffuser is about $85, buy a second one, make a negative mold, and try to make one! I'll buy it from ya. Better yet, buy some adhesive "carbon look" vinyl, cover the plastic piece, clear coat over it. Just a thought.

Big and Heavy 03 CL
The little black vinyl trim piece that goes on the bumper cover above the exhaust outlets is approx $85. Not sure about older models but with a little modification, it fit my 03 CL500 Sport bumper.
