Chip / Ipod
Just to update you guys, I put the Power chip in my car for $840 and i am very happy, significant difference in MPG and power. I also Installed a backup camera and a Ipod connector so I can watch movies for $995 and I am very happy with that also.

The chip was from Power Chip Group. I will check on the name of the back up camera, but its in the licence plate. As far as the screen and the Ipod they are all MB stock, what they did was take my stock MB screen and put a chip in it so I will be able to use it as a TV, DVD, or with the Ipod. In Europe all of them are capable of this without having to configurate but because in the US its illeagal to have TV in the front we have to install this chip. Hope that makes it more clearer, let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks for the feedback Bo. I've been contemplating a powerchip for quite a while. It's nice to see that it's money well spent.

i didnt do it at the dealer. everyone knows that you r not allowed have a TV screen and watch it in front, only for the back seats so u dont get distracted and crash. they send the deck to NY or Flarida, thats where they are able to take the TV blocker out, just like u can take the 125MPH top speed off. it cost me $995 for everything, that included a backup camera

I think the TV can only be done on 03 and below, unless there is a setup for the 04+ models. Not really sure.
Top speed is 155 not 125 btw.

Mine stops at 125, CL 500 2001, but with the chip it let me top that, you can do it with the newer once but u just need to have them configurate it.

Ya, powerchip is something I'm really looking into for my E. So, for the CL (dad has an 02 CL as well, just washed her today, she never ceases to amaze me 
) they just took the unit out and changed a chip in the comand unit (kind of like modding a video game system to play import games)? So this means up to 03, the CL and S comands, are the same in europe and U.S.? Cause I know the one's after that (the DVD based ones, not DX) have euro and u.s. versions.
