Spark Plugs

Can someone guide me through on how to change the spark plugs? Thanks

W215/X164/W124
removed cover
removed coil nuts
unplug coil to spark
total of spark is about 16
8 on each side
if you know have the tool
is be little harder to removed spark plug wires
good luck 2.5 hrs and 6pk beer you be okay

That pretty much sums it up. The rears are pretty difficult due to space constraints. Also, make sure you snap in the spark plug connectors correctly when reconnecting everything. They need a hard wiggle and push. I rechecked mine like 6 times and was still finding some that were loose. Good luck!

I cant figure out how to take the coil out.


Did you ever take the center consoul out and connect ur ipod to it?

you have to unscrew the nut out that hold coil follow the plug
the plug will lead you to the spark plug
this is the tool to use to removed the plug wires

if you dont have you a L shape Pliers

as for the ipod i have not removed it out yet because it been
snowing alot here

I must be an idiot because I still can't see where you take the nut out the coil, would you happen to have any pictures? My car is a 2001 and has 45K miles, should I even change them yet since its so old or should i wait till 100K. either way i still need to know how to do it.

THE COIL PACK THERE SHOULD BE A LITTLE NUTS STAR SHAPE LIKE

I THINK IS EVERY 100K OR 5YRS WHATEVER COMES 1ST

here is the picture of the coil the little hole is where the star shape nut located at
once you removed the nuts coil pack just fall out, follow the black wire from the coil will lead you to the spark plug
