abc issues
Hey everyone i have a major problem wit my abc system about a week ago i notice that i had some fluid on the ground i thought it was oil but it wasnt. Then i noticed that the abc message came on then adventually turned red The height was fine and when i would start it up i can hear the motor wining raising the car up but now i dont hear the motor at all and car is low and that the abc height adjustment feature isn't working It's low on the driver side and up on the passenger side. Does this sound like a high pressure line hose burst and burnt the motor up? (HOPE NOT!!!) when i start the car up it doesn't raise up at all and now the message is saying stop driving the car is to low. Can someone help me out on this one i been reading everyone horror stories!!! It's a 02 cl600 wit 60,000 miles i just recently brought it and was going to buy a extended warranty but now this happens!! I'm havin it towed on monday to my mechanic who works on foreign and german cars i didn't wanna take it to the MB crooks! Could someone give me a least worse case scenario and a worst case thanks

I hate to point out the obvious, but you have an ABC fluid leak. It could be a hose or one of the components leaking. When you spot ABC fluid, you should immediately turn the car off. If your pump is fine, you could have easily damaged it due to lack of lubrication. Hopefully this isn't the case with you. Get it inspected to identify what's leaking and go from there. Good luck and hopefully it's not too much $$$.
