Ok, I am stoked and anxious to start playing with the car. But, couple of things I really want to do for the car.

1. I want to use my iPod in the car, have any of you guys have a adapter/connection for the CL?

2. My side panel were the seat control is loose, is there a clip I need to replace or something?

3. I also want to take out the silly phone cradle in the armrest.

BTW some pics of the new CL55

This one with my wife's w203 in the back.

And this one with the daily driver wagon.

Thanks guys,

Bo I am located in Valencia.

Thanks to other members they told me that I have an adapter in the glove box. I would use a male to male connector and use the AUX button in via SVC (sound system).

Next thing on the list, I am going to hardwire my V1 into the car.

Hey, I was just going to say check the glove box but it appears another member has already led you in the right direction. Get a belkin or monster lead wire to avoid any sort of feedback from the aux input. Also, I would recommend that you purchase an IJET bluetooth remote so you leave the ipod in the glove box and just scroll thru the playlists with the IJET instead. It works really well and is an awesome compromise for the aux input option. While it would be nice to see txt on the command screen being able to read and scroll thru playlists on this mini ipod looking remote is just as good. Good luck w/ the rest of your projects.

Change the rims. Those seem to be at least one size smaller than the original...

And remove secondary cats and resonators to sound like this:

Otherwise congrats! Beautiful car...

Found the AUX button and had the a module hardwire from the back of the glove, so can still have an extra plug available. Module wire runs into the inside the armrest now... so, its charges and you can be heard through the AUX system.

Along with that, I had hardwire my V1 as well. Its sits above the rear view mirror. Using the V1 as a secondary or first unit what ever catches the laser radar first. Car came with a K40 system.

Also, lowered the CL while I was at my friend's shop.
www.need4speedmotor.com BIG up to the guys there. Edgar, Edwin, and Hovo

Rims are coming soon, we have some set aside and clear side markers have been ordered. Will keep you guys updated.

Pics will soon, forgot to take some.

Yea, those rims are reps.... bought the car like that.

As for the secondary cats and resonators... they have been taken out from the previous owner as well.

I'd love to see some pictures of that install. Maybe a DIY?

Regarding the phone cradle in the arm rest, I just tried to remove mine thanks to your suggestion. I managed to get the top part out (2 screws) but not sure how to remove the bottom part without damaging something. Anyone know how to do this?
