water pump

has anyone ever had there water pump change?
is it easy to change i know the part cost about 311.00 online OEM

why are you replacing it so soon? how many miles does your car have? should it last atleas 150K to 200K miles?

it was making some noise on a cold start.
went to the dealer to check out
they advised me that it is leaking a little bit.
80k

about 600.00 to fix

Hmmph...my mom's water pump just quit!

She was driving to work and by the time she got there, started steaming...so embarrassing in a 600. Looked in the garage, saw a puddle of coolant on the floor...so, leaking as well. Anyhow, waiting for the flat bed to pick it up. BTW, it's an '04 CL600 with 62K on the odo. This is approximately 6 months after the ignition coils got replaced on both sides. OUCH!
