CL 500 2001
Guys I am trying to buy a 2001 CL500 with 81000 miles on it. Is it a good MB? It would be my first.
I would like to know:
1. Any common recurring problems?
2. Steering Wheel Pump/Motor - Is it reliable?
3. Is it trouble free like Lexus ????

I'm going to say no. I had no problems with my lexus, and my dad has had 4 in the past 7 years. Nothing wrong with them. Since I got my CL, I've had some problems, nothing huge though. You need to buy a car with a warranty. The motor seems to have no problems at all. I've heard the 2003 and lower cars are more problematic, seems to be the general consensus.
