just added JL 1000/1 today

install looks clean. Im doing a trunk install as well. I wish I had my battery right there on the side. Helps alot for amp kit.

I have one question. I want to mount my amp on the seat like you did. What is needed to do so? Just drill screws in or what...

4 screws and end cap
once you drilll and mount the amp
get a saw and cut the end of the screw because
of the gas tank
get some glue and glue the end cap
help when the bass
