CL600 engine pics...
Good afternoom CL guys! I hope all is well...
We were doing some maintenance on a 02' CL600: Oil cooler, head gaskets etc.... The internals were so pretty, I just had to share! I can't believe how easy it is for these MB techs to take apart those big V12 motors. I just love watching them work....

That car was getting the oil cooler plate in the block valley replaced since it was leaking. To get that part out, you must remove the cylinder heads.
As a side note, when I see pictures of cars in the shop, I'm sorry to say this, but it irritates me as a professional to see fender covers missing. It is something I have been raised to do just out of respect for the owner of the car. Working on cars can get messy, and many times you must lean over a fender. Using a fender cover can mean making money on a job and paying for a fender to be repainted, not to mention having a very irritated customer at the time of pick up. Sorry again for the rant, didn't mean to thread jack.
