Adding Horsepower
I am increasing the horespower on my 2002 CL 500-
I have installed 2 magnaflow mufflers--I can feel the increase in horsepower--10 or so
Next am thinking of adding cold air intake kit- has anyone done this?
What are your thoughts?

I have heard pros and cons on Power Chip
My mbz mechanic says they may cause problems with smog tests, engine lights etc
Also, I see a price range of $70 to $1,500---what are the good brands?

PowerChipGroup thats where I got mine and for 800, it increased my MPG, took the top speed of 125 off and made it a little more responsive when u press the gas and a little faster. It's not really a chip, what they do is besically reprogram your CPU. there no way anyone will know u have done mods to it. just look at the website

For a naturally aspirated motor, start with the basics: Exhaust, Air filter and ECU tuning.
I've heard some good things about Veloce, as well as Powerchip. I guess the tie breaker would be customer support and a actual test drives!
Also, don't discount weight reductions, better tires and suspension upgrade.
