gap between fender & tire, on CL500

gap between fender & tire, on CL500
looking to purchase a 02 or 03 CL500, but one thing turns me off a little and that's the large gap between the tire and fenders. you can stick your hand in it and still have lot of room. looking from the side it almost looks like the car is jacked up. the wheels and tires are correct. Just wondering is it me or others have noticed this?
I've had all types of mercedes and BMWs over the years, and this just stood out to me on the CL models.
Other thing is the ABC light. I know what it does, but if non functioning, the ride is bad or simply say like my 02 SL500 that doesn't have that option. My SL has great cornering, handling, etc.

It's true they have wheel gap. All you need to do is buy links ( or make them) and spend some time installing them..then you can have less gap. Probably a 30-300 mod depending if you make them or buy them, well worth it.

Just put some 21s on it & virtually any fender gap problems you're having should be solved!
They did have to shave the bolts above my front tyres though. ;-)
