2001 mercedes cl 600
2001 engine swap
I have a 5.8L V12 engine in my Cl. It recently got flood damage and I have to get another engine. Can I swap a 5.5L or 6.0L twin-turbo in its place?
I was wondering about the possibility of a 2003 twin-turbo engine swap.

you can but you have to change the tranny and computers as well

yes ali,according to car-part.com ,it does...if he puts a 55 engine,he needs a 55 transmission too,it could be a clk55,s55,e55 or cl55 engine and tranny,they all interchange
