Hey guys I have a question, I recently bought my 02 cl500 but it needs a new amp since NO sound is playing. I tried finding an OEM amplifier but havent had any success so I went to many stereo places including car toys to see if I could just buy an aftermarket amp instead. They told me I have to get an OEM amplifier since its all 1 ohms. Is this true? Is there any way they can make an aftermarket amplifier work?

I have a zapco 750 wired up to stock headunit, and stock speakers minus the sub. Dunno if it's only powering the sub or whatnot, but I can ask.
