Rim compatability on a CL55
I want to put staggered lowenhart LSR rims on my 2001 CL55. these rims have a 5x112 bolt pattern and are 21x10rear and 20x9front. Does anyone know if these rims are compatible?? Im concerned about brake clearance as well.

the tires are michelin pilot sports. 295/30 rear and 255/35 front. In the past i have had problems with the front lowering but got it fixed and nothing since. If the problems do begin again will i be asking for trouble with those rims on?

It also depends on your offset. Did you buy the rims off another cl55?
I have 285s in the rear of my cl500 and I can't get anything wider in there. But I know that the cl65 has a wider wheel tub, so you can fit wider tires, maybe the cl55 has that too.

2004 CL55
The CL55 (at least my year) can definitely go with up to a 305 while lowered, cause I've got it now. Every so often it rubs but it has not been a big deal and I have done this for 2+ years now. I think the choices should fit, but I would avoid the 21 inch if possible, unless you don't plan on driving it much, or you like to fix dented wheels.
