ABC Gets stuck??
Hi, My Cl500 AMG 2005 model sometimes gets stuck up when the car has been lowered and raised a few times and left in the highest setting when the engine gets turned off for a while (a few hours).
Even though you can press the button the car does not budge it like the car is jammed up, but the ride is very bouncy like a boat ride, basicly its like there's no pressure holding the car up even though its high off the ground. mhmmm?
after a few hours I restart the car the car finally depresses and returns to normal so you can move it and its then fine.
I was thinking it may be a lack of fluid but the car has just been in to merc for a massive check over and it would have caught it on the diagnostics wouldn't it?
Please someone help as this is very annoying especially when you are trying to go out for the day and a BMW passes you but you can travel as fast..

yes mine got stuck in the up position and I had to drive 3 months like that. one day while going into the store I came out and it was back to normal and drove it all summer. I let someone else drive it and now its been in the up position ever since

Sounds like you have dirt or something clogging your ABC lines. You will need to bleed the system and clear the lines. Hopefully the blockage will bleed out. The valves are very small so if your line is contaminated with something larger than the bleed valve you will need to take it in and have them clear it for you.
