CAT warranty extension
Malfunction indicator or rattling noise heard originating from engine compartment or from under vehicle may indicate reduced catalytic converter efficiency – a basis for failing the state’s smog check program resulting in re-registration denial. MB has extended the emissions warranty from 8 years / 80,000 miles to 10 years / unlimited mileage for MY04 SL600, and MY01-04 CL600 & S600.
