AMG SIGNATURE BLOCK
perhaps i have asked this question before. i am looking at a used cl65amg. the amg signature block is missing.
the seller tells me that i can acquire a replacement from m-b. but i have information that a replacement signature block will not carry the signature of the builder. TRUE?
also, shortly after i acquired the cl55 from a benz dealer, i received a book from ernst lieb. the cover of the book carries the picture of the signed signature block with the title, ONE MAN, ONE ENGINE.
does mbusa furnish these to each serial owner of an amg car?
or did i get it because technically, since the first operator of the cl55 was a lessee, i am the first owner-operator?"
