Removing Cats

Has anyone removed the catalytic converters from a CL600? I am thinking of removing them from my 2003 but would like to know if it will cause any problems other than getting it smogged. Thanks!

I would not suggest doing it as you would be polluting the air we breathe. Further, it would add nothing to the performance of the engine.
