2003 CL500
Electronics trouble need help
I have my car at the dealership and they are saying they don't know what is wrong with my 2003 CL500. The trunk limiter doesn't work, the intermittent wipers don't work, the courtesy light under the rear view stopped working, and the driver door speakers stopped all on the same day.
They replaced the Left Front SAM but it didn't fix it. They are thinking about the EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) but they arent sure.
Has anybody had any troubles like these and could help point me in the right direction? Thanks

Place to start
I'd look at the wire bundle in the door hinge for the speaker issue. Slide the cover off the bundle and look carefully for broken/frayed wires. This is a good possibility for the door speaker issue.

Thanks nlieber. The garage called today and said that is exactly what was wrong with the speakers. They said that since the door is a cantilever hinge it's common. I wish the other stuff was that simple. I was told this morning that the best guess is the EIS but no guarantee. I'm thinking twice about spending $1300 on a non returnable piece. I'm already in for the investigation time.
