I have a 2003 CL500, which I used to get a combined fuel consumption of (15 – 16 l / 100KM), for me with the A/C on almost all times I think this is very acceptable.
I went for oil service; I honestly don’t know what the oil used before because I bought this car less than 3 months ago, I used Liqui-Moly W5-30 which is approved by Mercedes-Benz to be used, I changed the oil and the air filters and THAT’S IT, NOTHING MORE HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CAR, after that the car fuel consumption becomes (17 – 18 l / 100KM), need to know what possibly happened???
By the way my car is well maintained and did only 43K on the clock.
Many thanks in advance.

That sounds like a pretty small difference. Even a change in temperature could cause that. Are you driving the same routes, at the same speed, with the same acceleration?
If something is wrong with the car, it could be a clogged fuel filter. Most likely, it's just a change in your driving.

Many thnx Saintz for the prompt reply.
This in a way or another is almost 15% increase in the fuel consumption which I think is worth to know why, I'm still using same route and driving style as well, I've been told elsewhere it's 90% the oil and that I should go for W5 40 ???

Mobil makes a low viscosity oil that is designed to give better gas mileage. They estimate it can give up to 2% better economy.

The oil should make a very small difference in mileage. Maybe a few percent, but 15% doesn't make sense.
A 5W-30 is actually a thinner oil than a 5W-40 at operating temperature, which means that you should get better mileage with the 30 than the 40.
I would try a fuel system cleaner. Chevron Techron is recommended by Mercedes. You could probably also use Seafoam or STP or whatever you can find locally. Put it in the gas tank, and it will help clean water and deposits out of the system, just in case that is causing an issue.
