Yes it is. What kind of maintenance are you planning on doing?

 

I was going to start with hoses. Inspect and replace if necessary.

 

Let us know how you make out. As you may know, there was a recall on one of the hoses so make sure yours has been replaced. If you're not sure, call
800-for-merc and after you provide them with your VIN, they'll be able to tell you.

 

Check the dampeners, too.

So if the hoses haven't been replaced under recall, and the car is out of warranty, they will replace them? Or is it not a true recall (i.e. must be under warranty)?

 

One hose is under recall and should be replaced by MB at no charge regardless of warranty status.
