Tires for CL500
How long are your tires lasting? Mine seem to be wearing down pretty quickly....I keep air pressure constant and drive like grandpa most of the time.
I currently havePrimacy MXV4 tires
I will be in the market for new tires soon.
What do you guys recommend?

John,
Approximately how many miles are you getting off these Primacy tires?
Michelin seems to have advertised a high wear life for them on its website.
I have used everything from the more expensive Michelins Pilots/Bridgestone Potenzas to Firestone generic tires for my vehicles in the past. For every day driving I actually find Sumitomo tires quite good for the money and my driving habits (I too, drive like a grandpa for the most part).
Thanks!
Jon
BTW, your CL will look great w/ 18' AMG wheels. I had the same combo on my silver CL500 before I upgraded to bigger rims/tires. The 18' looked/rode/handled great in my opinion.

Baby, I have 6K on them now....might get another 3-4K. I had heard they were great tires. I think it is more a function of the car than it is the tires.....from what Ive seen/read about the W215's eat tires at a high rate.

I was just thinking about biting the bullet and buying some used Primacy tires for my 19' wheels. Glad I have this information ahead of time.
Hope you'll have better luck with other tires.
