Should l buy?

New post :-)

CL500, 82000km on the clock, 2002. Car is in superb condition. I know that it is normal for the car to 'sit' or 'settle down' after a week or so. This one however, the front sags down after just two days, rear remains up. Anyone - any clues at all?

How easy is it to get new sun visors? The ones in this car are there, just the plastic mirror covers will need replacement.

Thanks.

does it raise back up/level out when started & put in drive? If so (and there's no ABC warning lights) it might be OK. Be careful, have it checked out before you buy if possible.

Thank you for the reply. Ignition on - Red warning light to say the car is too low. Start - suspension raise button needs to be pressed to raise the car and the response is very quick, car stays up. After shut down, front of the car settles again over night. Rear seems to be ok - remains standard.

Check the ABC fluid level. Either the strut or valve block is leaking. If strut, the fluid will be low, and you generally want to replace so you don't run the pump dry. If the valve block, the fluid will still be full. The valve block isn't really an issue unless it sags while driving or after very short periods. Even if it sags overnight, that's a minor annoyance but not really a problem.
