A/C Evaporator
Anyone have one bite the dust?. A MB service mgr. told me they do go and their replacement costs around $8,000. Lots of labor as dash must come out.

2005 CL65 (current), 2001 CL600 (chopped)
I've never had the evap die, but my last 01 CL600 was bought from auction and I had to change that box out (blower motor regulator caught on fire for last owner), and yeah the whole dash had to come out. With the help of my 30-year-veteran mechanic friend, we did it in two weekends.
