I am looking for information regarding a 2001 CL 600. What was the MSRP? Engine specs, and are there any known problem areas?

You can find the MSRP and engine specs on the 2001 on the MBUSA website! I am unsure about any known problem areas seeing how I don't really follow up on the CL (sorry).

Information about the 2001 V12 will not be on the MBUSA website because they only show the 2003s which have a twin turbo V12 and the 2001s dont.

 

The 2001 CL600 had a base price of $117,200 (excludes transportation and handling charge, all taxes, title/documentary fees, registration, tags, etc).

The engine was a 5,786-cc SOHC 36-valve V-12 engine. T wo-piece high-pressure die-cast alloy cylinder block, alloy heads. Variable valve timing, sodium-filled exhaust valves.

Net power 362 hp @ 5,500 rpm

Net torque 391 lb-ft torque @ 4,100 rpm

Compression ratio 10:1


No problem areas that I am aware of.
