S vs. CL driving experience?

S vs. CL driving experience?
How does the driving experience compare between a 220 S-class and a 215 CL-class? Assume equivalent model, example '05 S500 vs. '05 CL500. I should think they'd be similar, but...that's why I'm asking.

The CL has ABC while the S500 may or may not depending on if it was optioned with ABC. Most have airmatic. If it does have airmatic, it will not handle nearly as well as the CL. The ABC is a huge PITA but it does make the car handle really great.

2000 mercedes benz s430
I have a 2000 s430 with sport pacage. A couple of my good freinds have some w215's. One of them has a 2001 cl500 with similar miles like my car. The drive is actually noticeably different from my s430. First it is more responsive when you push the gas and feels more sporty. The ride is a little more stiffer then the s but nothing to noticeable. In my opinion the s drives like a big boat and the cl is more of a smaller luxury boat with a little bit more power. My other friend has a 03 cl55 and that is a whole different animal but I have not driven a 03 s55 so not sure how it would be. Personally I think a 03 s55 would be the way I would go right now if I was to choose between a cl or a s. I just like the space and comfort inside the s class.
