02 CL600

What's up guys. Well I sold my W210 E55 and now looking into purchasing 02 CL600. My question is, how hard is it to work on? Is there enough space in the engine bay, or is it crowded and requires a lot of disassemble, for example when changing the spark plugs, valve cover gaskets etc.

Avoid the 2001 - 2002 CL600 I had one back in 2004 it was CPO car with nothing but issues, I can only imagine what it would be like owning one now after 10 years!!!! The 2002 CL600 has a NA engine has only 362 hp save up & get 2004 and up CL600 hp goes to 496 with lots more torque!!! Also you can purchase an extended warranty you will need it!!!

Good Luck!!!

DO NOT GET A CL600! Ive probably spent $8,000 fixing my CL over the last 3 years...I have no idea why I dont just get rid of it! Anyways, for example my coil packs went last week (2 spark plugs per cylinder) and it was about $2400 to repair. My alternator went also, which just happens to be buried in the engine compartment and water cooled. Not an easy car to work on, I occasionally work on my Ferraris but I will never work on a V12 Benz

Seriously, if you're smart, you wont get a CL600...theres a reason theyre so cheap
