so, tell me about this benz service that it pushes so hard.
when i acquired my cpo'ed 2006 cl500 in 2009, benz issued me a free, lifetime membership.
in 2011, when i acquired my cpo'ed 2006 cl55, benz went to great lengths to sign me up for mbrace. as if it was going to be another complimentary membership. when the charges started showing up on my cc statement, i canceled the deal.
now, acquiring another cpo'ed 2006 cl500, benz has been practicising the hard sell for this service. the correspondence and the initial selling discussion makes it sound as if it is going to be a complimentary service. only at the end, does benz ask for a cc.
i hang up.
why doesn't benz just tell you upfront that it is a fee-based service?
