window problem

Hi having trouble with nearside front and rear window ,don,t drop down the 10mm to let the door open properly ,when closing door the glass is to high and shuts against the rubber seal ,have fitted a new window control module ,did not solve the problem ,have tried to reset the windows no change, also the soft close not working on this door. Broken wires in the loom at door hinge or something else ? Thanks for any help .

air leak

Sounds like you have a air leak. What did the regulator set you back? I may be in the market for one soon.

The two problems you explain here are unrelated in nature but there is one thing that they both use in common to activate.

Check your door pin located in the door jamb. Make sure it has continuity when manipulated.

Here is the common problem-a broken wire in the frame to door harness. This is common with the swing of the door. One of the sensors is not reading. It almost sounds to simple and most people spend hundred on parts to remedy a pinched or broken wire. I had 2 wires broken causing the same senareo.

Was the broken wire on the driver's side or the passenger side?
