I need to know does your phone book show the difference between Cell, Home and Main in the address book on your screen or does it just show all three numbers for one particular person with just a phone symbol next to that persons name without any distinction? I ask because I bought the previous version 5839 (which I didn't know there was a difference). The newer the version, the more updated the firmware. So, if anyone is using the 5878 cradle/puck. Do both phones ring? This particular version (5878) makes both my phone ring, the car and the phone, the phone book works but there is not a distinction between Home, Main and Cell (like in the phone itself, where I know which one to call). Please can someone tell me. If the 5878 doesn't double ring and the symbol next to each number shows the difference in the symbol then I will have to buy the 5878 updated puck. I like the looks of these two version vers the newest one that looks like a plain black box. If someone knows what I'm talking about please advise. Thank you again.
