My CL500 has just failed its MOT test because the nsr ABC strut was leaking oil and is not repairable.Cost to renew via an independent will be £1641 GBP inc fitting and tax.My problem is that this strut was part of 4 fitted only 20,000 miles ago and the other 3 are ok.What type of mileage should you expect from these struts? Mercedes Benz Uk do not want to know - they say warranty is limited to 2 years regardless of mileage.This is stupid because you could do say 50,000 miles in 23 months and you would still be covered - whereas my car is limited weekend use only @ say 4-5,000 miles pa.Looks like you get penalised for not driving enough!
