ABC Struts

Hi,
Can someone help me out with the strut part numbers for a CL500 2001. Im looking at struts and im unsure if the U.S struts fit U.K cars as the part numbers are different, Also can a drivers strut be used on the passenger side? Are the struts pretty much the same for the CL600 and CL55 aswell.Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again

I had to replace the right front strut on my 2001 CL500. Found a used unit on eBay - Part number 2203206413. Sorry, unable to answer your other questions.

AMG cars have different part #'s for the struts. Not sure if they are cross compatible. My guess is different spring rates and valving.

Hi,
Changed my rear strut today and this is what the old one looked like, Pretty bad and looked worse inside. Not test drove yet but hopefully my knocking has gone, Did lift her up and down a few times and the new strut performed perfectly.
Cheers
