Fuel Gauge not working properly

Hey guys i recently jus got my cl600 back up and runnin after i experienced that horrible nightmare that some of you experienced lol i had a few leaves clogging the bottom drain on the wiper cowl, i replaced my rear sam everything seemed to b running fine, i kind of noticed last week that my fuel gauge seemed like it was a lil stuck in the 3/4 range so i went to fuel up and the gauge went to full i thought maybe it was me, cuz when the car was acting crazy prior to me knowing that water got under the rear seat my fuel gauge wasn't working. Well i jus so happen to nearly run out of gas yesterday and by the grace of God i was right at traffic light where there was a gas station, i filled up and wah la we back in business but then i knotice the gauge went back into the 3/4 range and i kno i didn't put but $50 in the tank and it couldn't have took it all the way to that range. Has anybody experienced this or know of someone who has?? i need your help fellas thnx!

Check the fuel level sensor sending unit in the gas tank.

Part # A2205421117

I think it is accessible via the rear of the tank by removing the rear trunk liner to gain access.

That is most likely the culprit unless the cluster or other associated SAM is on the fritz.
