About a month ago, I was searching this forum for spring pad pictures. I downloaded a few and I changed the names so I could identify them later. I found this one, I remember it was from a CLK, can anyone identify the photo?

If so, I was wondering about the spring compressors used in the picture. They look like the external type, with two seperate threaded rods. Were you able to get the springs out of the car with this type of spring compressor? Or were you only able to exchange the spring pads? Also, did you use the compressors on the rear springs?

Sorry for all the questions, I am ready to do my E-class and I doing my research.
