In need of a windshield for an 03 cl55
Hi, im new to the forums and I desperately need a front windshield for a cl55. They don't make aftermarket ones and I can't afford to dish out 1 grand and buy a new one from the dealer. Any idea where I can get one from?

I believe PPG used to have aftermarket units. Wonder if they discontinued them.
They are very expensive pieces of glass due to the rain sensor bonded on to them as well as the AMG tint that is employed.

Yup it's cause of the heat/infrared reflecting glass (you see it also on S class, 7 series, bentley's, range rover supercharged, rolls royce). I mean it makes a huge difference. My CLK550 gets so hot (even with the tints) versus our CL500 never gets as bad. For example, just hold your hand up to the glass when the sun is hitting the car in your CL versus in another car. You'll see the difference
