2003 cl600 jerks when hits about 1500 rpm?

Hello. Name is Manny and I'm new to the site. Is there turbo lag on 2003 cl600? Car feels like it jerks after taking off at a stop. I notice it at about 1500 rpm. It jerks and drops to about 1000 rpm's and doesn't happen again till either the car stops or I'm slowing down to almost stopping (traffic). If I punch it at a stop it won't do it. I put it into manual mode on 1st and it does it aswell. In the morning when the car is cold it will not do it but after about 5 minutes of driving and the car is warm it will start again. Any info will help. Thanks

Never had that issue. The CL600 should be buttery smooth.

Turbo lag? If I'm not mistaken, the 2003 CL600 is a NA V12 motor.

Edit: My mistake. The 03 is turbocharged. It was the 02 that was NA

I have the same problem with my 2004 CL600. It doesn't seem like it's affecting anything else, and I can similarly get the jerk to go away if I give it enough gas from a full stop. I'll be interested to see if you get any input here. I figured I would just have to wait until I brought it in for service and then open up my checkbook for the fleecing.

MBWorld was my first stop, but from a quick trip elsewhere around the interwebs, it looks like spark plugs may be the culprit in my case. I'm at 72K miles, so that would probably make sense for me (I believe replacement may even be recommended at 60K for the 600).
